Our heart at excel…

is to support and care for the church planter. We know that if we take care of the leader, then the church plant, the network and the kingdom can flourish.

What I love about Excel is how they love church planters!  They have great systems, great events, and a great team – but most of all, they champion church planters.  They have encouraged me for twenty years.  I am a fan – and honored to be part of the Excel team.

Excel is the strategic partner we were looking for to plant kingdom-minded, reproducing churches. The sense of community, deep friendship and the knowledge that we have support, encouragement and wise counsel has been an absolute godsend at each new level. If you are going to plant a church, you owe it to yourself to partner with Excel!

The support of the Excel Leadership Network has been one of the most important growth factors for my leadership and our church community! The Discovery Center was so instrumental in my leadership discovery and development, and now I send all of our pastors through it! We’re seeing healthy growth in our leadership and church participation, and I’m confident that if it weren’t for JD and the Excel team, we would not have been able to steward it as well. I love my Excel Family!

Excel Leadership Network is a tremendous resource for any pastor who is thinking about planting a church. The most important thing Excel offers the church planter is relationships with other pastors and leaders who share the same vision for being a part of something bigger than themselves. The relational connection is invaluable, and what I appreciate the most.

I am extraordinarily grateful for Excel Leadership Network in my journey as a church planter. Without a doubt, each conversation and relationship has been a strategic placement from God for our church. My favorite part of this network are the great Connection events where we are encouraged, well fed, and blessed by sporting events. I am also very thankful for the quality networking, resource sharing, and financial support we’ve experienced. Lastly, I love that my church gets to give through Excel and see churches planted throughout the world.

Born in south Louisiana, Luke was raised in a ministry-focused family that was called to grow the local church across nearly a dozen cities in the south. In the summer of 2010, Luke and his wife Ashley moved to Bossier City to found Covenant Church, which had been a dream in their hearts for many years. He says, “Our heart is for Covenant Church to be as diverse as the city we have planted in, and to create an environment of reminding each other of the hope we have in the Gospel.”

Luke currently serves as the pastor of preaching and vision at Covenant Church, and as COO of Excel Leadership Network.
